Wearing a sarong, having fun at New Year's

It sounds like a fun party you'll be attending - great idea too for the sarongs -- I'll go out clubbing on Dec 31 in Waikiki, then spend part of Jan 1 nude on Diamond Head Beach or at Sandy Beach (East Oahu) out passed Hawaii Kai. I'll be sure to wear mine or my Japanese yukata.

Yeah, I love wearing my sarongs -- I have several one of which is a mesh-like, see-thru material. Here are some pics of me wearing it and  not quite wearing it  . They always give you an excellent 'innocent' opportunity to flash dick or buns. 

I am standing on Red Road just 500 ft from Kehena Black Sands beach (nude beach). That's where I'll be on Christmas Day until New Year's Eve. I am nude on the beach and wear my mesh sarong walking back to the camping place (Kalani) -- can't wait. Before that I'm going to go hiking nude in the southern California. (between San Diego and Palm Springs).

Yeah, have checked out other freeballing sites, they are ok but this one seems really insightful and helpful too.

I grew up on a farm, 88 acres, all deserted. I used to roam those fields and play in the creeks. From the time I was 12 till I was 17, I did it nude. It was wonderful. I kept an all over tan , one day some one noticed and called me. I haven't heard that in 15 years. Living in a city now, no place to run around bare -assed outside is something I missed without realizing I did miss it. Innocent Exhibitionism -- Cross-cultural male camaraderie in Japan

While living in Japan, I found it kind of amazing that the otherwise polite and docile Japanese could be so rowdy and getso raunchy in the right circumstances. Most of these centered around group events where drinking was involved. I guess it happens everywhere with young people -- like ay college parties and fraternities, etc. But still is a bit of a paradox when the seemingly shy Japanese get plastered (or maybe that's just an excuse or front) and start stripping and performing what Puritanical Americans would think of as "lewd" acts. 


While Japanese are modest about nudity in general -- there are times when you can catch a glimpse of guys showing pubic hair or asses -- and sometimes a cock. I used to go cycling along some of the rivers around Tokyo. The city uses the flood banks for public sports fields or you can also see similar activities in public parks too. When stopping for a break, I could often get glimpes of guying changing clothes in broad daylight - I mean from street clothes -- stripping down to nothing or fleeting glimpse of ass and cock, and change into their team uniform or sports clothes right there in front of everyone -- especially when they were surrounded by the hunky teammates. Teams of intramural sports -- soccer, rugby, American football, baseball play on these fields usually during the weekends and holidays. Invariably, because there are no dressing rooms, the guys have to strip and change out of and back into their street clothes.This kind of CMNM scene has always been a turn-on -- it is like seeing one naked guys in a locker room full of clothed athletes, but it is out in public -- an open field.

It's kind of cool to see this kind of "innocent" exhibitionism among team members. But there is another type of flashing among Japanese men that seems to happen a lot but is not really so innocent -- maybe not really sexual or sensual -- but more like playful machismo, I guess, but it is still a turn on.

I never got invited to participate to such a degree but I have been in the room -- usually at a overnight retreat at an inn or hot springs resort where similar male stripping occurs. Without fail, some of the guys get (supposedly) too drunk to stop themselves, and end up pulling all kinds of stunts. They seem to start out as party games and end up with somebody getting undressed -- sort of voluntary (or sometimes forced) flashing for the rest of the group. 

I never got any photos -- but I found these photos on the net by a group of Japanese college students . They seem pretty typical for the kind of drunken playfulness that leads to somebody getting pantsied or just flashing the group. I used a Japanese language search engine and found these.

Japanese sometimes call this "skinship."

What is so cool about it?  Has anybody else experienced this kind of male-male "bonding" rituals between straight guys or in mixed gender groups -- in North America, Asian or Europe.?   I don't have a fetish about it , but think it is kind of cool. While these guys are sort of playing around with "sexy" homoeerotic behaviors -- maybe even identifying a bit with the homoerotic nature of what they doing -- it seems to me a kind of healthy way to de-sexualize nudity between men. Yes, there are some women at the party too -- although none of them usually get nude or show much if anything at all.

Skinny Dipping: Fun in the Sun

It may not be a big deal as far as flashing goes, but it's still a great thing to be nude and enjoying the surf and sand -Skinnydipping at San Onofre (see pic at right) -- that's the whole point of skinnydipping. I try to do that all summer long and whenever I can any time. I love getting out to Black's Beach in San Diego, Baker Beach in San Francisco, Russian River at Guerneville (CA) and San Onofre State Beach (just south of Orange County (CA) on I-5 (one hour north of San Diego). I had fun there in Feb-March and met up with one of my flasher buddies from the Net. (See his photo at left below).

Of course, it's more thrilling to try to get naked (with or without the swimming) at the pool, or jacuzzi, or the beach or anywhere that nudity isn't expected.

I used to teach at a school (K-12) that had a pool. Since I had a key to the locker room (with access to the pool), I would sometimes go late at night and swim naked in the pool. I found out later on that one of male teacher had done the same but got caught and in trouble. Eventually, they beefed up security and put a stop to all late night swimming (changed locks).

Sometimes, it's possible to get naked in a hotel pool or jacuzzi when not many people are around. At other times, I've tried going completely naked from my tent to the campground toilet / shower - at night of course - while camping. Have stripped and gone skinny dipping at many places - public parks, state and national parks - Yosemite has some (cold water freezes your balls!) great places for that. The Big Island (actually part of all the islands of Hawaii) have many beaches where it's possible to skinnydip without offending others. Waipio Valley - out from Honokaa in the northeastern area of the Big Island has a great place where people frequently (spontaneously - not a regular practice and probably frowned on since there are

tourists (from the US mainland - Bible-belters) but once you descend the steep road downt the valley entrance (on foot - of course), you can cross the fresh water river that flows into the ocean, and go to the northern (deserted) stretch of the beach. I've seen many people get naked there (including me and friends) for skinnydipping. People can just see tiny figures bobbing around from their lookout point at the time.

Kehena Black Sand Beach (Puna Coast, Big Island)

Of course, my all-time favorite place to skinnydip is Kehena Black Sand's Beach on Hawaii's Puna coast. It's not just about showing your goodies on a nude beach. It's a marvelous place where nature's splendour, the chance to swim with dolphins and see whales, mix with the convivial atmosphere of the local tradition of a hippie holiday romp on the beach - complete with all sorts of naked and semi-clothed characters - all of whom are welcoming, tolerant, and often buzzed.
